Modatex is Committed to Sustainability and Reducing Our Environmental Impact
Our Sustainable Strategy
We source raw materials primarily from suppliers adhering to OKEO-TEX 100, GRS, or bluesign certifications. In 2015, we introduced GRS certified 100% recycled post-consumer polyester twill, saving approximately 46 plastic bottles per blazer. Expanding on this success, we offer blends with 50% or more recycled polyester for skirts, dresses, and trousers. To enhance durability, our skirts and trousers feature a Teflon EcoElite finish, the world’s first plant-based textile repellent, offering superior stain resistance and water repellency.
At Modatex, we are dedicated to maintaining safe working conditions and environmental transparency throughout our supply chain. These commitments are fundamental to our ethical trading program, ensuring the well-being of workers and minimizing our environmental impact. Our uniform and textile manufacturers are members of Sedex and have successfully completed rigorous audits like SMETA-2 PILLAR, SMETA-4 PILLAR, WRAP Gold, or BSCI. These assessments guarantee ethical and sustainable practices within our supply chain.
